PERMANENT JEWELRY

Permanent jewelry chains can vary from small and dainty to large and chunky and from classy and elegant to colorful and playful. They can be customized with your favorite add-ons and most importantly they are durable, non-tarnish, and life-resistant chains that are meant to last years.​ Once you've chosen your chain and your add-ons, your jewelry is fitted to you and welded or "zapped" closed so that you don't take it off. If you prefer a removable piece, a clasp can be added. We can make bracelets, anklets, necklaces, and rings.

​There are many reasons why one would get permanent jewelry. These reasons include 

the convenience of not having to remove your jewelry, being able to create a customized piece that fits your style, not having to worry about durability, and perhaps commemorating or celebrating a special someone or event.

​The welding process is safe, easy, and quick. For the safety of your eyes, we ask that you do not directly watch the spark that happens at the moment the metal is welded. If you would like to watch the process, you can do so through your phone camera.​ A piece of leather will be placed between your skin and the welding site to safeguard you from anything unpleasant.​ We recommend using a cleaning cloth every so often to polish your jewelry and it and keep it shiny. If it becomes soiled, use a soft toothbrush and a mild dish soap to scrub clean.​ Permanent Jewelry is not indestructible and will last on average 2 years. Finer chains tend to be more at risk of breaking, while larger thicker chains tend to be more durable. An active lifestyle, heavy duty work, or coming into contact with chemicals often, such as pool chemicals or tanning products, can reduce the lifetime of a piece.

We are also able to apply permanent jewelry using a non-welding process called wire wrapping. This process allows you to include small decorative beads to the closure. 3 small beads or 1 large one are included with your closure or you can purchase more.
